Start of Fall Semester

I'm back in class! Luckily, I have a writing workshop on my schedule and will be working on new short stories throughout the semester, as well as revising old ones. I've recently realized I need to evaluate my life and work, and reconnect with my inner strengths and goals. I'm looking forward to focusing on these shorter pieces and using this time to take a hard look at myself as a writer, and work through the voice and messages that I want to come through in my work and career. This is a period of self-reflection and growth for me, and while it may not bring huge amounts of progress to a publishable manuscript, it will make that process easier and more effective in the long run.

All my best to those of you that take the time to read these posts and believe in me and my work.

Carson Costa

I’ve always been fascinated by stories and the way people of different cultures and backgrounds experience life. I went to the University of Nevada, Reno, and earned my Bachelor’s in Psychology. After graduation, I decided to convert a Ford Transit cargo van into a tiny home and hit the road, pursuing my dream of being a writer full-time. Now I keep a blog about my experience converting and traveling in the van and write short travel articles and book reviews on Medium.com, while working on short stories and novels that range from Epic Fantasy to Urban Fantasy to Realistic Drama Fiction. You can find more information about all my work on my website: www.carsoncosta.com.
