June 23, 2022: Coming to You from Berlin

Short one tonight. In part because I’m writing this on my phone, which is way less comfortable and way more typo-inducing than my laptop, but mostly because it’s 10 pm and I’ve gotten 3.5 hours of sleep since waking up at 4 am yesterday morning.

So I’m really just here to say I made it. I’m in Berlin with my family. I also wanted to send a couple shout outs to some wonderful people I met on the journey. Here’s one for my delightful seatmate from Reno to Denver, who kept me cheerfully chatting the entire flight, and for two fabulous ladies I met in the Denver airport, who reminded me to get into the good kind of trouble. More on the trip over once my brain function returns to normal.

Carson Costa

I’ve always been fascinated by stories and the way people of different cultures and backgrounds experience life. I went to the University of Nevada, Reno, and earned my Bachelor’s in Psychology. After graduation, I decided to convert a Ford Transit cargo van into a tiny home and hit the road, pursuing my dream of being a writer full-time. Now I keep a blog about my experience converting and traveling in the van and write short travel articles and book reviews on Medium.com, while working on short stories and novels that range from Epic Fantasy to Urban Fantasy to Realistic Drama Fiction.
