PNWA Conference

I’m pleased to say I’m turning more of my energy back on my fiction writing. I’m finishing up the rough draft of a currently untitled novel, a tale about a princess who bends the rules to determine her own destiny in a challenge for her hand. A blend of romance, action, and comedy, this novel explores how love can grow, our priorities can change, and the friendships we build can alter the trajectory of our lives.

I’ll be pitching this novel at this week’s Pacific Northwest Writers Association Conference in Seattle. I’m excited to return to the conference scene; this will be my first writers conference since the pandemic! It should be a great week of speakers, craft sessions, networking, and pitching. At the very least, I hope to come out of it with some new contacts and some direction for my revisions of this novel moving forward, as well as the rejuvenation that I always feel after a conference like this!

Carson Costa

I’ve always been fascinated by stories and the way people of different cultures and backgrounds experience life. I went to the University of Nevada, Reno, and earned my Bachelor’s in Psychology. After graduation, I decided to convert a Ford Transit cargo van into a tiny home and hit the road, pursuing my dream of being a writer full-time. Now I keep a blog about my experience converting and traveling in the van and write short travel articles and book reviews on Medium.com, while working on short stories and novels that range from Epic Fantasy to Urban Fantasy to Realistic Drama Fiction.
