There's No Place Like Home

We have returned from our European adventure. It’s another stage, hopefully the last major life shift I’ll have for a while.

I’m juggling a number of priorities at the moment, which means some things have taken a back seat while others have risen to the forefront. There are three important things to note:

First, one of my top goals this year is to finish a novel and begin looking for an agent or publisher to take on the project. I’m making steady progress toward this goal and expect to be a published novelist by the end of 2024.

Second, I’m launching a private tutoring business. This is taking up a lot of my time at the moment, but if you happen to live near the Douglas County/Carson City area of Nevada and your child needs a tutor, please contact me! I’d love to have you as a client.

Third, The Next Town Over is on hiatus, which I’m sure everyone has noticed. It didn’t begin as a planned hiatus, and has snowballed into a much longer hiatus than I intended, but with everything else that’s going on I simply can’t keep up with the posting schedule. However, I loved making this show and I definitely plan to come back to it!

Carson Costa

I’ve always been fascinated by stories and the way people of different cultures and backgrounds experience life. I went to the University of Nevada, Reno, and earned my Bachelor’s in Psychology. After graduation, I decided to convert a Ford Transit cargo van into a tiny home and hit the road, pursuing my dream of being a writer full-time. Now I keep a blog about my experience converting and traveling in the van and write short travel articles and book reviews on Medium.com, while working on short stories and novels that range from Epic Fantasy to Urban Fantasy to Realistic Drama Fiction. You can find more information about all my work on my website: www.carsoncosta.com.
